Welcome to Edison Park
An exciting city neighborhood with a vibrant ambiance
Bordered by suburbs of Chicago, Edison Park has metropolitan perks within the community network. Here residents can appreciate hip nightlife, fantastic restaurants, and dozens of bars.
Drawing its namesake from inventor Thomas Alva Edison, this bustling neighborhood was once a freestanding town until it was annexed by Chicago and boasted electricity, setting it apart from other towns in the area. The presence of electricity and its centralization around a booming metra station made it a flourishing area in the northwest corner of the city of Chicago.
The neighborhood is named after a quaint little park at the center of town with a historic fieldhouse that serves as a vibrant community center for residents to take art classes of all mediums. The architecture follows classic Chicago styles like American Foursquare, Colonial, and Bungalow. The homes amongst the tree-lined “O” streets, such as Olympia, Oliphant, Oleander, and other residential areas, are designed to integrate flawlessly into one another.
